The shelf liners look exactly like the photo. They are very thick, good quality, barely bendable, have a lightly textured side which I put on the downward side and a opague smooth side that I placed upward. They could be placed either direction according to personal preference. They slid right into place on my wire shelves and precisely fit my 18W" X 36"L coated wire shelves as shown in the photos like custom made. The arrived double boxed, so no chance of damage and securely wrapped in fours each thick plastic wrapping to keep them secure and safe from scratches. Also I put the "BRAND NAME" embedded into the back of each separate shelf piece with the opague side up so you can read the brand name that is embedded into the shelf liner. It is barely perceptible and does not show from the front of the cover.
