This is definitely a pretty cool toy. The first few times trying it, it wouldn't transform very well but after using it a few times, it loosened up and was better. It's not super well made and kind of lightweight, and I was surprised it didn't break when my 4 year old nephew got a little rough with it. He really ended up liking it and I think any small kid would enjoy it, just don't know how long it will last.
