Review: Seriously, this thing is a game-changer!! - Wow. I purchased the HAUS OF BARS Tandoor a few weeks ago and honestly, our Friday night takeaway habit is officially done. I was a bit apprehensive that an electric gadget would replicate that real tandoori taste, but I was completely wrong. Last night I cooked chicken tikka and the char on it was just right - smoky and delicious like it came from a restaurant. The naans were the real test... they actually puffed up! Whenever I cook naans in my regular oven they are always just dry and crispy. It gets incredibly hot, really quickly, and the best point for me is there was hardly any smoke, so the fire alarm doesn't have a panic attack. Overall - if you love that tandoori flavour, just get one! It has been so much fun to play with.
