It makes a quart of nice thick Greek-style yogurt with less fat than the regular version of this starter. My batches are very tart at first but once left in the fridge overnight, they mellow out and have a good taste. I can easily eat this plain.I don't have the Easiyo maker, I actually have the Yogourmet. I just mix this packet with a quart of cold water, add water to the first fill line in the chamber, and incubate for about 8 hours. It works great and I don't have to buy milk and fool with heating then cooling it in the water bath, or add extra powdered milk or gelatin (gross) to get a good thick yogurt. This comes out thick already, every time.A quart of Fage is $8 at local stores, I think this tastes even better and it's half the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ terrific product & easy to make *by L***. on December 17, 2009* this was my first adventure into homemade yogurt making & as I was researching & reviewing other product lines I was not sure I wanted to attempt it - but with this product it is so simple - and it tastes great - and they offer a wide variety of flavors - this low fat greek base is one of my favorites - actually I originally ordered it with the thought of making my own Tsaziki sauce (I think I might have mispelled that, sorry - it's the white sauce they serve w/fallafels - yum) anyways...I keep ordering this base & buying the cucumbers that go in the recipe but every time I make a batch of this greek yogurt I eat it before I can get around to making the sauce :-) oh well, one of these days I will succeed in making the recipe but until then I am enjoying this yogurt as is! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Price not great *by P***W on February 18, 2021* The product is great.
