I love these tea strainers. I have purchased several different types from specialty tea stores at three times the price, and these filters are the absolute best. First, the extra fine mesh does not allow any tea leaves to escape so there is zero leakage. That is so important to me. The clarity of my brewed tea is unparalleled. The stainless steel enhances the brewing performance as it leaves no taste and give the filters excellent durability. I use them quite a bit and there is no sign of rust anywhere. The size is perfection. They are small enough to be stored in a vintage butter dome on my kitchen counter but are large enough to brew a small pot of tea, they are so versatile. The chain and hook make it easy to pull the strainers out of my cup without fishing around with my fingers in hot tea. The little stainless-steel coasters are priceless. It means I can take my cup wherever I want while the tea is brewing and have a small coaster to put the tea strainer on. Every aspect of these strainers has been thought out extremely well, they check all my boxes. What a great find.
