Review: Well made items - Good value for money. We have made one cake stand so far. It’s not easy to drill the holes in plates tho. We bought 2 drill bits. The first was for glass and ceramic. However it couldn’t make the necessary hole in the plates. We then bought a drill but that is hollow in the middle and that worked. Takes time and patience, not as easy as Angela on Escape to the Chateau made it look but certainly worth the effort. It’s incredible how hard a plate is to drill holes in. The end result is stunning though, we are really delighted with it! See Photos of end result. Haven’t baked any cakes yet. So only biscuits for display purposes but you get the idea.

A: Used a tile drill bit, took a while to get through but did it and no breakage.

A: We are really sorry that we don't have the plates in the picture for sale. The plates are just photo props, it’s very beautiful to assemble the cake stands with the plates. Maybe you can find similar plates at other amazon stores, or try to find similar plates in golden to use with this stand fittings for cakes or fruits.
