It also works well for baked goods such as cakes, but makes cookies come out kind of soft, not crispy. I depend on it for low carb diets. This one was labled as 'powdered', but was actually 'pearls'. They dissolve easily in liquids, but for frosting I had to grind them in my bullet. I also use it for sweetening the second fermentation stage of my water kefirs. I've never had any stomach issues from using it like always had with erythritol and xylitol.
