Review: Excellent laptop for the price, but be warned - RAM can't be upgraded. - These are excellent laptops - fast and efficient, with decent video and keyboard. HOWEVER, BE WARNED! These are excellent laptops - fast and efficient, with decent video and keyboard. HOWEVER, BE WARNED! The units we received have soldered RAM and cannot be upgraded. We went back through the description and had not way to tell until we decided to attempt an upgrade to 32GB of RAM, but found no slots. Apparently, there are two versions of the PB16250 - one with SODIMM slots and one without.
