They even provide extra wires and connectors for you to test the system before permanently installing. This Leekooluu backup camera system is one of the few on the market that can also record 1080p videos when you drive to be used in case of accident. You will need to provide a SD card, 128gb or less, and the videos can be automatically recorded and played back clearly on the monitor or on computer. After successfully testing, installing is straight forward, connect the 2 cameras to 12v power then plug the monitor to a cigarette lighter receptacle, turn it on, and voila you have the videos wirelessly displayed on the monitor, clean and clear. I used a heavy duty continuous duty cycle relay between battery and trailer connector so the camera and power feed to trailer is only on when key is in the run position and plugged monitor's plug with switch left on into the factory key on power port in dash so I start the van and camera comes on. Very easy to wire or have a relay wired in with a fuse tap, relay, and wire for constant monitoring in any vehicle with a test light and basic tools. Takes 1-2 hours depending on how the wiring is routed but its much like wiring a car for an amp. Heavy duty relay not required, I used that for future plans. Objects in this camera are MUCH closer than they appear. Lol. Adding a 2nd camera high mounted so I'm covered for all backing situations **Q: The description shows 24 volts. I searched hard and finally ended with this backup, rear view camera system. The camera is simply wired into my licence plate light, so it is always on when driving and I don't have to worry about charging. I also like how it integrates into the license plate frame. It is Bluetooth to the monitor, so no wiring. The monitor is crystal clear and simple to operate. My trick though, is I do not mount it on the dash, I use it without the mount and rubber-band it over my rearview mirror. My rearview mirror serves no purpose with the trailer blocking my view, and it's where I've been looking forever to see what's behind me, so it feels very natural.
