The mold has a guideline on one side for scoring with a razor knife, which is highly recommended. Punched hole for the wick with a tiny screwdriver. Used a rubber band to secure the mold, then smoothed opening with fingers. Silicone is very easy to work with. Once poured, the wax should cool and cure for several hours, the longer the better. This will insure a more favorable release. End result...beautiful, well detailed candle! The most important aspect: Patience! Using molds is a task of precision.
