Lots and lots of fine hair so it looks very thick. I can curl my hair easily and I can wear it straight easily. This might help you to know what type of hair I have when reading this review. When I try and get all curls with regular gel, I end up with stringy hair after lots of effort. For the past couple years, I’ve been working really hard on trying to have all curls all the time and zero frizz. I recently discovered that all that effort is giving me all stringy curls all the time and lots of frizz. So I end up looking like I have a bad 80s perm. This stuff is helping me to accept my crazy hair type, some of it is curly, some of it is coily and some of it is straight. I need to use very little of this product to get soft, frizz free, mostly wavy hair. I’m much happier now that I’ve gave up the struggle for perfect curls and accepting the mix of textures in my hair. This gel is helping me to have beautiful frizz free waves even days after my shampoo. Soft, doesn’t feel dirty/sticky from hair products. The scent is heaven for me. It totally smells like lemon cake. I don’t find it to be very strong and I do have a sensitivity to very strong scents in products.
