I went with this one mainly for the price, rationalizing that if I didn’t feel it would be strong enough I would send it back and purchase the more expensive one. Well, I am very impressed with this Door Lock Brace. This is a very thick material, and there is NO way that anyone is going to force my door open with this installed. I did not have the tools necessary to install this on my tile floor, if your installing this on tile you will need a “Diamond drill bit, or called Tile Bit”, I had a Electrician friend, install mine, and he was very impressed with it and was going to order one for his door. It took him five minutes to install and he did use, in his opinion better screws than what was supplied with brace.
