It’s easy to use and the instructions are clear- it has a calibration process so can be reset. Also mine was set to Fahrenheit not Celsius, so had to change that on arrival because Fahrenheit makes no sense to me. It probably gets its best value for money from being water resistant - I use it when barbecuing or grilling outside and have tragically lost a few cheaper meat thermometers by leaving them out in the rain. I haven’t had to mourn this one yet so it’s a major bonus. The rotating/flipping display is also handy because you can’t forget to hold it the right way up.
