This is the 2nd one I bought. The original is well over a decade old and it just wasn't gripping as well as it once did and the pad would fall out while cleaning sometimes. The stand is a nice addition for some people I suppose, however, I preferred the old hook on the top of the tank that keeps it much better tucked away and out of sight. The hook is not included now.
