They came promptly and in good condition. The straps were WAY too big for my feet, so I cut them shorter on the side with the holes and cleaned up the ends I cut and they worked great. They were nice and jingly and you could hear me everywhere I walked! They will definitely work for various Western costumes I have planned, including the Man With No Name. Full disclosure-- I got these for a costume, not for horse riding. I do not own horses or will be riding anytime soon, unfortunately. I have no idea how they will work for riding on horses.
