Review: Great value for money - I was uncertain because of other reviews - in particular those who said the wrong monitor had been sent because it didn't have a webcam and those that said that they couldn't get the webcam to work. When I opened the box I thought I had been sent a monitor without a webcam but then noticed that it slots down from the top of the monitor and you have to pull it up. I connected it to my iMac with just the usb c cable, plugged in the power cable and it works perfectly. The webcam works - I simply went into a video con app (Zoom) and into settings and selected the LG webcam and it instantly came to life. Great value for money and very pleased. It also looks great. My only criticism is that the stand actually pushed the monitor quite far forward and on a narrow desk that could make a difference to you

My decision to go for this monitor rather than the much cheaper ones was for the in-built webcam and the speakers along with the long term dependability and LG brand. The speaker quality is terrible and not adjustable in settings and monitor does not have a webcam at all and that is what I wanted. Looking back at the description on desertcart it would appear that it means that the monitor has built-in power for a camera. So, I’ve now got a monitor costing £249 that is no different to one costing £80 and I’m not happy at all. Don’t buy this monitor as it’s just not worth it.

I was uncertain because of other reviews - in particular those who said the wrong monitor had been sent because it didn't have a webcam and those that said that they couldn't get the webcam to work. When I opened the box I thought I had been sent a monitor without a webcam but then noticed that it slots down from the top of the monitor and you have to pull it up. I connected it to my iMac with just the usb c cable, plugged in the power cable and it works perfectly. The webcam works - I simply went into a video con app (Zoom) and into settings and selected the LG webcam and it instantly came to life. Great value for money and very pleased. It also looks great. My only criticism is that the stand actually pushed the monitor quite far forward and on a narrow desk that could make a difference to you

I’m very disappointed with this purchase; at this price point it doesn’t give value for money. My decision to go for this monitor rather than the much cheaper ones was for the in-built webcam and the speakers along with the long term dependability and LG brand. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good screen...But!

Compact good screen with anti glare. I found it a trifle difficult to set up and the rear toggle switch was fiddly but with practice it should work okay. Plenty of cable sockets at the rear, although it would have been better had they been on the side. My main gripe was that the onboard camera would not switch on despite trying all and reading LG website PDF I just could not switch it on so with that in mind I returned.
