Review: Use care Opening it. Works well for my wood floor home office. - I reclaimed my former home office which had become a junk room. I put up new shelves, bought a height adjustable worktable for use as a desk, and purchased a rolling gaming chair. The floor is hardwood and I wanted to protect it. I purchased some of the "skate wheel" type wheels for the chair, but wanted to double-up on the protection. This mat gives me plenty of room, goes all the way under the desk and still gives me rolling room to push back and never touch the actual floor.
