Review: Simple install and great sound - Had to replace a sub in our main viewing room and decided that this fit the space and requirements. Works great and fills the room with nice deep bass with no discernable distortion. Good volume range, standard interconnects, well mounted speaker with no rattles or shaking. This is a digital amp, which is effectively a PWM-style digital output smoothed to the right frequency response. What seemed like a novelty when this style came out is now the efficiency and output leader and Klipsch has done an excellent job in their implementation of this one. Good volume, phase, and cutoff control to balance with the rest of the room.
Review: Excellent sub for the price! - Wow, what a difference! I had purchased an Onkyo receiver almost 2 years ago and connected an old set of Yamaha speakers to it and it was making due. The front, center and rears all work well and provide great sound, but the sub we had was a 6inch powered that just didn't deliver. Not sure if one of the kids kicked it or it just tore, but it was sounding horrible. Ordered this on a Wednesday night and got it Friday day! Problem solved! This 10inch is POWERFUL! I wanted to get the whole Klipsch set that Costco sells, but it's $1200+ so this is a perfect start and I can build the set over time and hopefully catch other speakers on deals. Very good quality from this company, definitely recommend for the price.

**Q: What kind of cable do i need to make this work with klipsch the sixes speakers?**
A: If this speaker follows the usual Klipsch subwoofer convention, you just need a single cable with RCA/phono/coaxial plugs at both ends. You have to plug it into the jack labeled "L/LFE". If you are sending separate left and right subwoofer signals, then this jack is for the left signal. If you just have one signal, then it treats it as a single LFE signal; that is, like the ".1" part of 5.1 or 7.1 audio. If the jack is simply labeled "L", then you might need an RCA jack to two RCA plugs Y adapter. For a definitive answer, look in the manual, but I suspect that it will handle a common subwoofer signal on the left jack like previous Klipsch subwoofers.

Had to replace a sub in our main viewing room and decided that this fit the space and requirements. Works great and fills the room with nice deep bass with no discernable distortion. Good volume range, standard interconnects, well mounted speaker with no rattles or shaking. This is a digital amp, which is effectively a PWM-style digital output smoothed to the right frequency response. What seemed like a novelty when this style came out is now the efficiency and output leader and Klipsch has done an excellent job in their implementation of this one.
