**Q: Does this work well on light or dark scars?**
A: I don’t know, but I guess it works perfectly for both light and dark scars. It works great for my old dark scar.

**Q: Will this gel lighten my skin as well?**
A: Not necessarily. For this reason it is better to spot apply it only on and around the scar only.

**Q: What % of allantoin is in the scar gel?**
A: The pump itself lists 1% allantoin and 1% retinol on the side.  Allantoin is third and retinol fourth in the list of ingredients after water and glycerin.

**Q: would this work for a belly button piercing scar?**
A: Hi there! Thank you for your inquiry. Silicone gel has been proven as an effective solution to help reduce the texture, color and overall appearance of scars. In regards to belly button piercing scars, you need to wait until the piercing has fully healed/closed before applying silicone gel to the piercing scar.
