Slide on and off bars easily due to the beveled metal collar at the center of each weight. Heavier plates can be a pain to pick up once they’ve fallen flat on your workout mats… just be prepared. Bar seems solid enough for the set. Don’t know that I would trust it in a commercial setting, but definitely good enough for home use with my boys and their friends working out several days a week for high school football. Packaged great other than the cheap bar clips which were taped to the outside of the bar box and bent out of shape from that.
