However, I gave it a few more chances and have loved it ever since, and no further bristles have come out. It doesn't snag and holds the hair nicely while blow drying to get good volume. My only complaint is that the end of the brush (the brush end, as oppose to the handle end) is curved which means you can't stand it up on it's end.
