This set has some good weight to the pieces, but is not overly heavy. The handles are easy and comfortable to grip. We have only had them for a few weeks, but they are holding up well - even in the dishwasher. For the look, feel and quality, they were worth the prices and a very good value. Do note that the bowls of the spoons are on the large size, so they might not be a good fit for younger or small children to use.
