Im glad to see that I could buy a huge amount of it for a decent price. The packs last me about 2 uses and I would end up spending waaaay more on those than I would on the jar. Ive gotten about 6-8 uses out of the jar now and have barely made a dent in it.. It smells fantastic and it leaves my hair soft and manageable. (I have very long thick, frizzy, dry, curly hair and its often a total mess lol) Shea Moisture products are often my go-to to help me tame this beast on my head. :p ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ New addition to my hair regimen *by C***L on Reviewed in the United States on February 28, 2020* I have 4b/c curl pattern low porosity. I did my second big chop in 2018 and have been natural ever since. My wash day regimen is: pre-poo with 2/3 coconut oil and 1/3 Dessert Essence Coconut Moisturizing Conditioner, wash with 'AS I AM' Coconut co-wash and deep condition with my holy grail deep conditioner 'Ingredients to Die' Organicals Deep Conditioning Crème. My regimen works for me. But I wanted to see what else was out there. I was attracted to this product because of the coconut ingredients. I love me some coconut oil since it is one of the few oils that actually penetrates the hair shaft. I read the reviews and have been satisfied with other Shea Moisture products so I decided to give this a try. I LOVE IT! I section my wet freshly washed hair in 4 parts finger combing a generous amount within the sections. Then I put on a plastic cap, tie my head with a head scarf and sit under the dryer for 30 min. on med-high heat. Depending on my schedule I leave it on for another 1-2 hours then I rinse. It does not have the creamy texture that I'm used too with my Deep Conditioning Crème but it does what is advertise: it hydrates by hair making my coils pop. My hair is left soft with well defined coils. I love the scent as well. I am will not replace my holy grail deep conditioner with this product but I will alternate their use. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Uhhhmmm *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2019* First of all shea moisture has my favorite deep conditioner in the world which is the high porosity moisture correct mask. I'm a product junkie so that's saying a lot. Now I was told THIS coconut oil DC would give me moisture in the winter months (by my hair guru and she has neverrrrrrrr failed me). So I used this in the winter when my hair was drier and needed a Moisture boost. Not good. It made it feel drier and a little stiff unfortunately. I wanted to love it like my guru.I'm going to try it again though AND here's why. This past winter I was wearing clip ins a lot. Put them in the morning and took them out as soon as I got home. Still the clip ins caused a lot of tension so I had to heal my hair with protein treatments almost every wash day along with moisture based DC to balance. I thought my hair could take this DC on top of protein treatments because some have. My hair can take a lot of protein and loves it as long as I'm consistent and balancing it out with Moisture regularly. So now I'm thinking was it the recipe prior to using this that made my hair harder and drier. It wasn't enough moisture. I had more protein. This DC has light proteins in it, coconut oil, and I think ayurvedics which are strengtheners. Now add that on top of a protein treatment and cold weather. Even as I type this I feel dumb because I was cancel this. I'll give an update sometime.
