Designed specifically for adult rabbits, it offers balanced nutrition that supports healthy digestion, weight management, and overall vitality. This concentrated formula is recommended to be fed alongside grass hay for optimal results, delivering noticeable improvements in energy, skin softness, and odor control. With a 4.7-star rating from over 500 reviews, it’s a trusted choice for discerning rabbit owners. ## Description This is the new timothy based pellet for adult rabbits. Dr. Sherwood worked hard to improve nutritional value over previous formulas. You'll see even better improvements in your energy level from bunnies better weight management and all the extra health benefits you should expect from Sherwood Pet Health formulas (softer skin, less urine smell, ext...). This new timothy pellet is concentrated so you should measure a small amount of pellets and feed it grass hay (1st or 2nd cut is better - the super smooth third cut is too rich and often leads to health problems). Review: Definitely recommend 100% - Our rabbit had diarrhea twice and we couldn't figure out why. For rabbits diarrhea is very serious. We did some research and found these pellets. Now our rabbit is having healthy poops. Kind of a weird thing to say lol but true and for a rabbit owner the condition of its poop tells you if you're rabbit is healthy or not. Now these pellets do have a high fat content, like 6%, but after feeding these to our rabbit Lilly has been doing binkys again and hasn't had any problems with her digestion. I couldn't recommend these enough if you have a rabbit. They're twice the price as other pellets but well worth the money. They kind of soft and the bottom of the bag turns to dust but you can use that to make treats. Our rabbit loves these pellets but if you give them to much they will gain weight. Other than that they're great for a rabbits digestion compared to almost all the other pellets out there. Review: Highly recommended - My bunny loves this brand. This is made of timothy hay. I have been buying this brand for three times. It smells fresh and quantity and quality is great. ## Features - Grain and soy free. - Timothy based on hay - Balanced Nutrition ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07Z6S1MFV | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Age range (description) | Adult | | Allergen Information | Soy Free | | Brand | Sherwood Pet Health | | Brand Name | Sherwood Pet Health | | Breed Recommendation | All Breeds and Sizes, Small Breeds | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 530 Reviews | | Dog Breed Size | Small | | Flavor | Timothy Hay | | Flavour | Timothy Hay | | Item Form | Pellet | | Item Weight | 4.5 Pounds | | Item form | Pellet | | Manufacturer | Sherwood Pet Health | | Number of Items | 1 | | Pet Type | Small Animal | | Target Species | Rabbit | | UPC | 787421992748 | | Unit Count | 72 Ounce | | Unit count | 72 Ounce | ## Product Details - **Age range (description):** Adult - **Brand:** Sherwood Pet Health - **Flavour:** Timothy Hay - **Item form:** Pellet - **Unit count:** 72 Ounce ## Images ![Adult Rabbit Food Timothy Pellet (2 kg) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71F0lvRghXL.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: How much do you feed a rabbit that weighs less than 4lbs?** A: I believe it tells you feeding instructions on the packaging based on their weight. My rabbit is 5.5 lbs, and I gave him 1/4 cup. **Q: How does this compare to the Free Choice pellets? I compared the ingredients and they are exactly the same.** A: There are two adult timothy foods and yes the formulas are the same with the difference simply being that the blue bag of free choice is diluted down with a lot more timothy hay to allow it some flexibility. Which would be best may depend on you and your rabbit's habits. The concentrated pellet in the green bag is very dense nutrition and should be fed in very small measured amounts based upon weight making it great for rabbits who eat a lot of hay. A rabbit below 6lbs for example will get only 1/8 cup per day. The free choice timothy pellet in the blue bag is more flexible in that it can be fed at a minimum of 1 TBS per pound, fed freely or anywhere in between. This food is basically the same formula as the other but diluted down with a lot more timothy hay so that they can eat more of it which makes it great for rabbits who may not be good hay eaters, for pairs or groups where monitoring their intake is tough or even for people who love to be able to feed a bit extra. **Q: Free choice** A: This is not a free choice pellet but they do have an option for that. Check the Sherwood Website directly to view all products and recommendations. **Q: Why has this product been "currently unavailable" for so many months??? Where else can I buy this?!** A: Sherwood was starting up a new factory and had closed an old one, so their capacity was very low. I had to scramble, going through rabbit rescue groups to get some to tide our buns and fosters over. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Definitely recommend 100% *by A***. on 31 July 2026* Our rabbit had diarrhea twice and we couldn't figure out why. This is made of timothy hay. I have been buying this brand for three times. It smells fresh and quantity and quality is great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My rabbits LOVE these! *by H***Y on 8 February 2025* These are high-quality pellets that every bunny owner should be feeding their rabbits, not the other trash brands! I’m in a rabbit group on Facebook and even the rabbit experts agree this is the top notch food to feed your bunny! It’s an excellent value for money, although I wish it was cheaper, but you pay for quality so I get it. The size of the pellets are just right for a rabbit to eat. We’ve had no issues with choking. My rabbits get very excited to see the pellets and it’s part of their daily routine. I have two bunnies and I feed them 2 tablespoons in the morning and 2 tablespoons in the evening and the bag lasts one month for two rabbits with that serving. I had an auto subscription for every two months, but that was not enough. I find that I do need to order it every single month even with just using 4 TBS per day. Can’t recommend this product enough! Anything by Sherwood I trust way more than oxbow. Hope you enjoy my rabbit video of how excited they get over their Sherwood pellets! They binky and zoom in excitement when I shake the pellet jar (I store them in a tall glass jar) and then I spread them out on a foraging mat. They didn’t binky over the oxbow pellets before. I love that there’s no unnecessary awful ingredients in these like soy or sugar or molasses. It’s just the absolute best quality. ## Frequently Bought Together - Sherwood Pet Health Adult Rabbit Food Timothy Hay Pellet 4.5 lbs.
