We started about 2 yrs ago with the temp colors. I start behind my ears ad separate hair out into 2 sections top and bottom. Bottom I like blue and top is purple. Do bottom first once saturated I over with plastic cap or shopping bag. Then the top the colors really don't bleed into each other. Use petroleum jelly on ears head and neck. If temporary color never wash with hot or warm water if u do you'll wash the color out quickly. Also consider how dark yr hair is. Of course bleached hair is brighter. But know bleaching can harm hair. But even the second time, when I let it process for 20 minutes longer than the directions say, it faded faster than semi-permanent products.
