I just lay it in the soap dish with the regular sponge. It doesn't leak. **Q: Has anyone used the wand as an applicator, say for glue or shellac?** A: I used one for painting squares on the floor. It worked great! **Q: Does it really not leak (my only reason for buying)?** A: Mine does not leak. I was away from home 2 weeks; I left it in the bottom of the sink, no leaking but was, of course, dried out. Just ran some water on it and it was ready to use. **Q: The photo is of a dish sponge. The description is of a bar stool. Is this a cellulose sponge or a synthetic sponge? Do the Libman refills fit this?** A: I bought this a while back-have used Arrow brand for years. Other brands of sponge heads do not fit properly so you must commit to the Arrow brand (others typically leak dish soap).
