From the base to the top, it is a little more than 8.5 inches. It came well packaged, and it was easy to install the hair and the hands/wand. Take your time with it, don't push it too hard, just make sure you got the alignment right and it should fit in relatively easily with a little bit of force.The figurine has a nice weight to it, and it is of good quality. The individual fingers look like real fingers with nails and polish. The eyes are one place where I think this could be improved, but it is hard to complain when it is around $35. It was interesting to see that the back had some texture when it comes to bone/muscle. The knees also have a similar structure, so overall it looks more realistic than cheap figurines you might find elsewhere.
