There are parts that I keep coming back to, and sometimes I just simply open this book and get the inspiration that I need. It's like it was waiting for me to open it to be revealed, even though I may have read some sentences over and over but did not 'get it' then! In a way, it reminds me of some of my favorite other books: The Flight of the Feathered Serpent and Dhammapada (Shambhala Pocket Classics) . Both of these 2 gems are amazing spiritual resources. it's like special friends and guides talking to you. Like the Pistis Sofia, you can just open them anywhere and get so much out it. Amazingly, these ancient texts carry so much meaning even in our modern society. The Pistis Sofia is most definitely a book to have and to actively read and try to understand if you are indeed interested in spirituality. Review: Just.....WOW - I just started reading this and have only gotten to page 9 because I'm taking notes and looking stuff I am unfamiliar with up as I go along. Listen, if you really want insight into the deeper Jesus Mysteries I HIGHLY suggest getting this book. It is steeped in code so it helps to be at least a little familiar with some world mythologies (specifically the dying and ressurected God, and the descent and redemptionof the Goddess), and occult sciences. You don't have to be an outright Magus but a passing knowledge of things like numerology, astrology, and alchemy will alert you to when something mentioned is a Key. Having grown up in and around orthodox Christianity I have always felt there was so much more to the stories we are told. Reading this book puts it all in perfect perspective for me. And like I said, I'm only on page 9, lol. I'm greatly looking forward to continuing the unveiling of the Wisdom of Faith. Don't let the esoterics intimidate you. Take it as a great way to learn more. This is a thick book so it's not one you are going to finish in an afternoon. Enjoy the unfolding, take notes, have your phone handy so you can look things up on the fly, and take your time.
