I can see how they definitely prevent callouses and can't speak to the biomechanics of preventing forearm strain, but can anecdotally share the I was able to lift heavy weights with noticeably less strain on my wrists and forearms and with less fatigue. Unlike lifting straps, these fit snugly and easily into your grip so changing out sets of free weights and/or transitioning to weight-free moves in circuits is super easy and fast. I found these to be an awesome buy and about 1/4 of the price of the branded version that is widely advertised. One caveat: I'm a woman with small-ish hands (size 7 foot) and these fit my grip absolutely perfectly. I can see this item feeling too small for someone with much larger hands, so I'd consider this factor. It really feels like these should be sold in a S-M and a L-XL size.

I was skeptical, but these are awesome and make free weight work so much more comfortable. I can see how they definitely prevent callouses and can't speak to the biomechanics of preventing forearm strain, but can anecdotally share the I was able to lift heavy weights with noticeably less strain on my wrists and forearms and with less fatigue. Unlike lifting straps, these fit snugly and easily into your grip so changing out sets of free weights and/or transitioning to weight-free moves in circuits is super easy and fast. I found these to be an awesome buy and about 1/4 of the price of the branded version that is widely advertised. Can’t workout without them now. They’re not bulky and get in the way like the hard plastic hand hooks, so I can use them for supersets and don’t have to take them off. If you have larger hands (like XL glove size) then these might not cover well. I have avoided getting calluses with these. I’ve been using these anti-slip grips for the gym instead of traditional gloves, and they work great! You just slip your fingers through, so they’re much more compact and breathable—not as hot or bulky as gloves. The rubber material is thick and provides excellent grip, which really helps prevent slipping when lifting weights. It also reduces pressure on my hands, so I don’t feel sore after workouts. They’re super convenient to carry around and perfect for daily gym sessions. The only downside is that there’s no sizing option—they're a bit loose on me. But for the price, they’re definitely worth it!
