I kept finding the small ones, but after a little digging came upon this one and fell in love. Especially with the bamboo lid which is more sustainable than regular wood, I knew I had to get it. I live in Hawaiʻi and it is HOTTT during August and September, so when I filled this bottle a 1/4" of ice and the rest with water (from the refrigerator) I was a little bummed to see the ice melt so fast. I knew it was something I would have to expect with glass (versus a Hydroflask), so I shrugged it off. My parents and I went shopping at the mall and I left the bottle in the car. I have an all-black interior so it gets HOTTT. When I came back, I figured the water would be hot too! And while it wasn't cold, it was surprisingly cool and not even a lick of hot! Stood the test of Hawaiʻi heat for me, so I give this bottle five stars! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Water tastes better *by J***J on Reviewed in the United States on October 22, 2018* Out of the packaging - the water bottle smelled slightly like plastic. However, I ran it through the dishwasher (a great feature), and it removed any leftover smell. After that, I believe that water actually tastes better out of this water bottle than it does out of some of my plastic or metal water bottles. It is better than any plastic water bottles I've used in that a lot of them are not dishwasher safe (or I don't feel safe running them through the dishwasher and drinking out of them again). It is better than my metal water bottles in that many times they have a metallic taste to them.My only fear is that I will break it sooner or later, which i have dropped it already from short distances, and because of the holder, it has been fine (honestly, if I did break it, I would probably just buy a new one, though). ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars Breaks easily *by S***L on Reviewed in the United States on March 18, 2019* I’ve brought bottle twice and it’s broken both times. It’s not easy to find 1 liter bottles but this bottle is not it. I actually really liked the bottle itself. It seems sturdy and is easy to clean but it keeps breaking.
