Of course if you stick your nose to the container and breathe in it will seem to be overly strong but still smells fine. After using it during the rinse cycle it is perfect, very mild scent. I drove to each one like a puppy and they all did not have it. Method has no explanation why I can’t get it at any store or any online retailer. VERY WEIRD. **Q: All 4 bottles in my last shipment are a different color than usual... more milky looking. Is it ok to use? Anybody else have this problem?** A: My bottle was milky looking when it arrived. It had been shaken obviously from the travel and it had sat outside in the cold all day. When I checked it the next day (inside) it was the usual “clear” color that I see at the store. It could just be weather or travel related. I would bring it in and let it sit for a day or so. If it doesn’t settle then maybe decide what you want to do like either try a small load with it to test it or send it back. **Q: Does this leave a residue/mold in the softener dispenser like the creamy softeners?** A: I’ve never had that problem. I love the fabric softener **Q: Is the $35 the price for one bottle?** A: You should not be paying $35. for one bottle. According to the ad that is showing, it says 1 pack, 45 loads. That defines one bottle. Nice natural fragrance - can't stand those heavy perfumed fabric softeners like Downy. Also, Downy is so thick it clogs my dispenser. Method is thinner and never clogs. I like that it's natural because I get migraines from artificial and chemical smells. Beach Sage is light, natural and lovely. Good value too.
