I purchased the largest size, about 8.5 inches. After 7 hours of steady on, full white, it is slowly dimming. I expect that in a lower, dim mode it will last longer. However, 7 hours is a long time for one charge. I wonder how many charge cycles the internal battery will last. The small, included 4 inch stand is workable but just three points, tri-pod would be OK for a smaller unit. The cost is for the moon itself not the stand. I would suggest a larger, different stand would make this beautiful item more interesting and stable. I have ordered a larger, more interesting 5 point stand for this beautiful moon. The weight is not a concern as even the largest moon size is just under 1 pound. ### ⭐⭐ That's no moon.... *by E***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2019* It doesn't light up while charging. Let me repeat that. IT DOES NOT LIGHT UP WHILE IT'S BEING CHARGED. You only get to charge it when you want to have it illuminated and you can't do both. If you do photography get this as a prop or the kids will love it in there room. I've had no problems with the battery.
