Review: Cheap, sharp, reliable these are my go-to hobby knives - This is the kind of utility knife set you don’t think twice about until you’re reaching for one every day. I use these for everything from breaking down shipping boxes to slicing open wax packs and slitting penny sleeves cleanly for card insertions. They're sharp out of the box and stay that way for a while. I keep one at my shipping table, one in my grading prep drawer, one in my car... you get the idea. They're light, easy to control, and retract smoothly without that junky, plasticky feel some cheap cutters have. The blades are actually decent . For the price, it's a no-brainer. You're getting 12 of these not some fancy one-off that gets “lost forever” the second you put it down during a packing session. If you're in the card game or just open a lot of mail, this pack earns its keep.
Review: No brainer, way better than old school bulky cutters - These little things [un]pack a punch! They are so tiny compared to the old school box cutters and so much easier to use! For the one handed uncovering:: I hold the orange “cover” with the silver side down and kinda just smack it on the table or floor and the cover slides down. Same with closing it! I have forgotten to close it a few times and have gone to reach for it and almost cut myself. It would be nice if the razor portion was a different color so you could visually see when the blade is exposed. Otherwise it kinda looks like the “butt” part with no blade on it, there’s no immediate distinction. (Just a mention for the seller- maybe something they can improve upon?) The razors are sharp and it does the job perfectly! Only thing is There’s just one side on the razor so there’s no way to flip it over and use the opposite side, like the old school box cutters. But there’s 10 in a box so plenty to last you a while!! I like that it’s orange, it stands out in the junk drawer.
