Handy Tool For Interior Painting
I have a room project that I am trying to complete before the holidays so I thought I would see about getting a sprayer to help with the painting. After reading the reviews, I ended up ordering the Graco TrueCoat Plus II. I was a little more money than the other products but I have a Graco airless sprayer so I was familiar with the brand. The sprayer was delivered on the date as promised and included all of the items. It included a reservoir lid and some pump armor, which you will need when you store it. There was also a strap but it wasn't obvious how that would help when using the sprayer. If you haven't used a paint sprayer, it's helpful to read the instructions. But it's fairly simple to set up and start using based on the included quick start guide. You will also need tape and cover any areas that you do not want painted. The sprayer holds about a quart of paint and it does require frequent filling. But a larger reservoir would increase the weight to the point of being uncomfortable after a while. The kit included some liners for the reservoir but after few fills the liner leaked and made filling the sprayer messier and more complicated than necessary. Cleaning the sprayer and the reservoir after using it for latex paint was simple using just water. Cleaning the over spray from the outside of the sprayer required a little more work with all of the nooks and crannies.Overall the Graco sprayer performed well. It is probably best used when priming and painting the room a single color.

Professional result, but here is some advice not clear in the instructions.
Got it to work again. I had to run every unclog procedure on it just after the first use. It might have been the water-based primer I was using was too thick, too old or had some particle in it? The videos and manual they supply are very well done. I followed these to get the sprayer to work again just after a few minutes of use. What is missing from the videos is the exact size of the hex wrench or socket wrench you will need. I used 23 mm socket (you can use a crescent, but I don't like these due to their slippery nature) and I can't remember the hex wrench size. You'll need a wrench, needle-nose pliers and hex-wrench set to unclog it.After you get it to work, the sprayer provides unbelievably professional results you could never achieve with a roller. There are some caveats:1) Use a paint strainer if you are using old paint.2) Thin down your paint even though they say you do not need to do this. You might want to thin it down, especially if its old paint.3) Do not apply at an angle. Although you can apply paint, say into a tight corner, its better if your surface is right in front of you.4) Needs lots of room. You need room to move your hand back and forth in order to make an even pass.5) Sometimes its a lot easier to use a brush and/or roller if you can't apply an even coat due to obstructions or the angle at which you have to spray.6) The sprayer is relatively heavy, so take this into account. If you are ambidextrous at all, think about switching back and forth from one hand to the other if you have a large area to do.7) It covers quickly. This sprayer covers an area at leas five times faster (if not ten times faster) than a roller. You'll need to restock the paint every couple of minutes. You'll go through a gallon in minutes. It will take you ten times longer to prepare the room than to paint it.

So disappointed!
I wanted to love this product after reading so many positive reviews but after one use it kept getting clogged. We have tried to clean it multiple times and watched a bunch of different tutorials on how to care for and maintain this sprayer...still can't get it to work. So frustrating I thought buying a high end sprayer would bring joyful results but I my $50 Wagner sprayer is easier to use and is actual usable.

saved my marriage and changed my life (close but not really)
i don't usually write amazon reviews but this product was so awesome i had to.I have been in the process of re-doing the kitchen for a year. I have been painting the kitchen cabinets white with a paint brush and not entirely happy with the results with the brush. i use a thin primer (zinnser) good brush and sand between coats and make sure the temperature is right but still no dice. it could be that i am my own worst critic because people tell me they can't see the brush marks but i can! so i decided to spend the money on this sprayer and i am so glad i did!i read the manual first to make sure i didn't screw anything up. the sprayer is very easy to set-up. you have to make sure you prime it then once you get paint out of it on a scrap surface you can start using it. it took me 10 seconds to paint one door!! the key to using this on something like cabinet doors is setup. take the time to figure out your system of painting and things will go smoothly. i'm sure this is great to use on walls but that will also require some setup. the finish was like glass!! so smooth and so beautiful, it almost made me cry. i spent so much of my life painting with a brush and pretty sure i will never again.the cleanup took longer than my painting did but make sure you clean it right so it lasts a long time.
