Review: Amazing Earbuds! - I've had these AZ100's for about 3 weeks now, and they are amazing. The sound quality is exceptional: excellent stage, detail, bass, mids, and highs are all clean. I did have to tweak the EQ a bit for my preferences, but these buds actually respond to the changes. And, it was amazing how many settings I tried that I actually liked, but were still distinct from each other. These are far better than SoundPeats H3 in this regard, although I was able to dial in the eq on those as well. But get them a little off and the H3's could be painful. The AZ100's manage to allow me to hear everything without any of it disappearing, or any of it becoming overwhelming, regardless of the frequency. I also like the size and comfort. These are small but fit very well. They are snug, but still comfortable without causing any "hotspots" that get sensitive after wearing them for a while. I would add that the fit and shape does a good job at passive noice cancelling for me. But the thing that has impressed me the most is the ANC. I have a particular use case. I'm a cyclist. The wind noise of cycling is always particularly challenging for ANC, particularly once you get past about 15 mph. With most other earbuds I just turn the ANC off on the bike, because at around 17-18 mph it tends to make things worse. But with the AZ100's set on automatic, I could actually hear it adjusting to the wind noise. Even at 20-25 mph they were doing reasonable job. Get past 25 mph, and well the wind is loud, but it's loud regardless of earbuds, ANC, or nothing. But, and here's the kicker, somehow, the AZ100's again set to auto, allow me to hear approaching cars, even from behind, while keeping the wind noise down. Either one of the ANC sound engineers was a cyclist, or there's some kind of voodoo in there. The performance of ANC on the AZ100’s set on automatic is as good or better than the “Wind” setting on Earfun Air Pro 4+. (The H3’s were unusable while riding in any setting including turning the ANC off.) One note: when I first started using the AZ100's I used the default medium size tips, and they were working great. But after using the software to select the "ideal" size, it shifted me to the small size. This fit fine and was stable while riding, however the ANC quality in the wind deteriorated significantly, so I went back to the Medium tips, and things are better. I'm not sure why this is. I suspect I'm right on the line between the two sizes, and the combination of heat and sweat from the physical activity loosens the fit up slightly? Regardless, I get a better seal and ANC performance with one size larger than the software recommended. YMMV. The battery life is great. Phone calls (I've only done a few) have been fine. I really couldn't be happier.
Review: PHENOMENAL! Exceptional sound, unbelievable call quality - I bought these for the rave reviews I'd read about the exceptional sound for music playback - which is absolutely incredible - but a surprise feature is the call quality, in terms of what the microphones can pickup: and what these block out. With the "AI" feature turned on, it eliminates background noise on your side. It's so good it's wild. Let's talk about the call quality first. This is a game changer for me, as I'm on MS Teams calls throughout the day - and I have young kids at home as well, plus I will sometimes I have to speak on a call and I'm in the car or not quite in the house and it's windy out. Being on the go is not really something you want to convey in a work call. I picked these up before heading to Disneyland the week of Thanksgiving with the kiddos. While there, my sister called. There were no less than one million people there at that time, many talking near me, music in the background, all this sound. She asked where I was. I said, "Disneyland." She was surprised because she couldn't hear anything in the background. So I looked into it and found out the "AI" voice call setting was flipped on by default. You can actually test this yourself in the accompanying Technics phone app. In the test, it'll continuously record your voice and play it back on a few-second delay. With the AI enhancement OFF, it's great at capturing sound around you like typical earbuds. With it on, it's ultra clear and only your voice. I mean, it's so good I've been telling everyone I know about these. Today I was sitting next to my 3YO, 6" away, who was actively screaming at the 5YO, 3' away. Whoever I'm talking to *cannot hear this*!! I've even been at a DIY car wash with the sprayer in my hand, full blast, on a windy day. While I didn't hear that audio myself, the person I called said they couldn't really hear anything in the background. I seriously cannot believe how good these are. I'm so confident in how well they block out background sound that I will do dishes while I'm unmuted on small group work call. (For much larger group calls, I don't need to experiment: I'll be muted in Teams, turn off my microphone on my phone, and mute these as well.) One feature I haven't tried yet: there's even an AI feature to block background noise on the other end of the call, too. So if your friend is in a noise place, it can block *their* background noise for you. I haven't encountered this scenario yet but I bet it works great. Audio quality is outstanding. There's a built-in EQ, plus your phone's as well, of course. Between the two - and the Dolby Atmos on my Samsung - the bass is surprisingly deep, mid and highs clear, and they have a great sound stage. I listed to music from Qobuz (CD quality at minimum) and very much appreciate HiFi audio. It's fun to listen to music all over again on these earbuds. There's some kind of Dolby Atmos feature built into these where the sound changes if you move your head around. I haven't played with that yet. You also have options to block out background noise when listening to audio (a few ANC settings) and the pass-through feature, too, which lets in background sound and has a voice focus setting that works great. What else: they connect to multiple sources, are comfortable to wear (I can have them in for a few hours straight), and I haven't had issues with battery life despite wearing them for calls much of the day. I'm still getting used to the button taps on the right and left earbuds (one tap for this, long tap for another feature) but these are customizable, too. I would say the one part I'm getting used to is the size. Maybe it's the drivers that make them a little bit bigger. I'm coming from the Jabra Elite 7 Pro's and also the Anker Soundcore sleep buds (which are much smaller and flush with your ear, of course) - so these feel a touch larger. But for the top-notch audio quality and amazing ability to block my background noise for call recipients, it's not an issue. These were on sale before Thanksgiving - maybe check the price history - but for the features here and my new ability to actively move around without concern on work or personal calls, the value is unsurpassed. I absolutely love these and would encourage you to buy them if you want amazing earbuds for music and voice calls.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hi-Fi Hearing Improvement, Call Quality and Clarity
*by A***H on August 3, 2026*

So far so good. Got them to help me hear and they do that great! So could've been 5 stars and still might after more time with them. I've had them for 2-3days so far. My pros: Great to help listen in loud environments. I didnt know I had a mild level of APS. So they do help with isolating sounds. Noise Cancelling is outstanding. Music sound quality is awesome. Phone calls are phenomenal. Wife could not hear the background noise during our while I was driving at HWY speeds with all 4 windows open and I could hear her clearly. Battery life so far I haven't had them drain out. But I'm still getting used to earbuds and have to take them out after about an hour or less. App options are extensive. I think I glossed over it too much, but think you can set up the earbud controls however you want for it to be intuitive to you. They're intuitive to me out of the box, volume on left earbud, playback on right. Case is tiny, lightweight. Case is wireless chargeable. Multiple earbud touch controls. Music pauses when removing them. Syncing is seamless. Can listen to music with just one earbud. But lose controls that are the other pair. Volume is without a doubt great. XS, S, M, ML, L, and XL ear tips/pads included. FIND EARPHONES option!! New to me so excited about being able to find them since they are small. Can find case ability, will be testing find location ability in detail later today and post update. Cons: App sucks during setup for the ear buds sizing. Could not complete the entire earbud tip/pad process without it timing out or music start playing due to touching the controls. And when was able to run it selected the best tip/pad it would choose a different size when rerunning the test 3 different times. Overwhelming amount of app settings. Equalizer settings are great. I usually do custom setting with Bass on 7-9, Mids 5-6, Treble of 8-9. But the Dynamic is spot on crystal clear and perfect. Volume could be dangerous if you accidently hit the volume up control on you since it doesnt require much volume gain to hear it clearly thats how good the Hi-FI is. Have to browse the app to see if it has volume safety setting. I could use my Galaxy device volume safety settings but it may or may not affect sound quality, dont know. Case is tiny with no clip on or way to secure it, no lanyard or loophole to purchase an after market lanyard. Touch controls don't arent intuitive to me. Case does not have audible location ability. And if earbuds are inside the case the location sound ability does not work since they have to be connected to the phone. Personal note: Since its my first in ear buds, I get ear fatigue fast. It varies per ear, depending on how I place them. I am waiting for foam tip replacements for them to see if it helps. Hope it doesnt affect its noise canceling or any of its features. Will update after a month or so.
