(any issues with weeds or grass)** A: I was renovating an old drive and patio. I spent a lot of time preparing the blocks. Cleaned and made sure the gaps were clean and ready to be re-sanded. Followed instructions to the letter. Found that no matter how much I tried to avoid a powdery residue being left on the blocks it would not shift. Sprayed with water to set the sand. When dry there was a distinct staining left behind. The sand even after 2 weeks has still not set in places ( even after rain) and weeds a now starting to show. Not what I expected at all. May work better on new work. **Q: How did you get the residue off? it’s been a few days and i can’t seem to shift it. do i pressure wash it off?** A: You need to brush off before you add water.
