### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ DLPA for Fibromyalgia Pain and Mild Depression, It works!

DLPA is a combination of 2 forms of the amino acid phenylalanine. It is known for its antidepressant properties, especially when combined with other supplements (I also use SAMe and 5-HTP). It's reported to increase your levels of norepinephrine, which is an important player in both depression and attention issues. I have fibromyalgia and I use this daily for the treatment of mild depression & chronic pain issues. I do notice a difference while on it. I went off of it briefly and felt as if someone had let the air out of my balloon, just kind of deflated. I believe many of us with chronic pain suffer with depression, and its a cyclic thing: more pain = more depression... and the more you are depressed, the worse the pain feels. It really effects your quality of life! I take one each morning on an empty stomach and have just added another at night in hopes that it will help with my insomnia. Being perimenopausal has wreaked havoc on my sleep schedule! I do not experience any drowsiness with the morning dose, but I suppose more sensitive people might. I'd suggest trying it out yourself to be sure, or just take your dose at night. It seems to be one of those supplements that give some people energy and others it makes sleepy. Source Naturals price per pill makes this one a good value for the price. These pills are a bit smaller than other brands I've used and I've had no problems swallowing them.
