## Description

From the manufacturer More About The Product For a stylish drive, upgrade to Philips Ultinon Pro3000 LED signalling lights. They are daylight-bright and look good so someone's can signal safely and stylishly.

Review: Very good ‘bulbs’ - I bought in the hope of a slightly brighter indicator light, and it achieves that. Not too bright to be silly, just that extra edge. What I hadn’t appreciated though was the additional benefit of a more distinct signal. Seeing a standard incandescent bulb side-by-side to this LED highlighted that the incandescent bulb doesn’t actually quite go out. The filament gets hot and the brief moment the power is off doesn’t give it chance to fully cool to nothing. The LED on the other hand is instantly on then off, making a more distinct, and hopefully noticeable, signal. Do note though that on some cars, my 2014 RAV4 included, you will need to increase the resistance in the signal circuit otherwise you will experience fast flashing, hyper flashing. That is just because the LEDs draw less current than their incandescent equivalent and you need to add a resistor to mimic the original load. I went for the Osram LED driving 21 watt version as a respected brand. Whilst I only changed the rear indicator bulbs for LEDs I add the resistors to the front indicator wiring as it was easier to access and allowed me to mount the resistors onto readily available metal brackets in the engine bay (that they need as they get hot!). I’m very impressed! I’ve got other Philips LEDs in other lights around the car and they’ve lasted years, so I’m confident that these will do the same. Well done Philips, another great addition to car safety.
Review: Cause indicators to flash rapidly - Ordered these for a 2011 Freelander 2 front and rear indicators. Perfect fit, very nicely made, and a good level of brightness without being blinding, but the bulbs flash at a very high rate when signalling. I believe the legal limit for the UK MoT is between 60 to 120 flashes per minute. These flash at at least the 120 max limit. To be fair, the listing says they will work 'with most vehicles', so perhaps they might be worth a try on your car as long was you are prepared to return them if not.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great with a 2011 R1200RT
*by D***N on 21 July 2025*

An ideal plug and play option, with no CANbus errors on my R1200RT. Projects great whilst not being horrendously blinding, and doesn't generate a tonne of heat. Clear orange colour as well - no concerns of confusion
