Constructed from durable and completely waterproof vinyl-coated polyester, the welded seams and DrySeal roll-top closure ensure that contents stay dry. The deluxe suspension system includes padded shoulder straps, sternum strap, padded waist belt, and ventilated back panel for hauling comfort. Fully adjustable, the suspension can accommodate torso lengths from 16 to 23 inches. Pack can be used as a large dry bag by removing suspension and straps, for a sleeker profile. The SealLine Pro Portage Pack 115-Liter Waterproof Expedition Backpack carries 115 liters (6,940 cubic inches), measures 18.5 x 12.5 x 30 inches when sealed, and weighs 6 pounds 3 ounces. Manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty. Made in the USA.

Review: Fantastic and simple waterproof back pack for traveling - This pack is fantastic. It is huge. I can literally fit inside it as it stands end to end, it comes up to my chest. I bought this pack as my only piece of luggage for a 3 week trip to Italy. It's really just a big tube, so I also purchased some packing cubes (which I also now find indispensable!) to separate my clothing and that worked really well. I hauled this thing on about 5 different trains, several taxis, and 3 airports all over Italy. The bag held up extremely well and besides a few scuffs here and there from rocks and baggage terminals nothing ripped at all. It was very important to me that I could put my luggage on my back and that whatever I bought I wanted it to be as waterproof as possible. Italy is very hard to navigate with a rolling type bag, so this really came in handy going up and down the endless steep staircases. I also bought this bag as I thought the next size down would be too small for 3 weeks, but after receiving it I realized it was WAY more than enough space! Honestly I over packed it and you can probably get away with the next smaller size for a long 3 week trip. It's kind of amazing that it is so hard to find another backpack like this that is completely waterproof. There are surprisingly scarce alternatives... I looked at several other options including the "Sea To Summit Flow Drypack", the "Watershed Animas Waterproof backpack", and the "Osprey Atmos 50 backpack" with a raincover which all were good alternatives. I felt the Sea To Summit bag just wasn't big enough for the length of time and the Watershed pack just didn't have enough back padding. The Osprey was nice, but I have used rain covers before in Alaska and they don't always keep the water out in heavy downpours as I have found out the hard way. In the end I felt like the SealLine Pro Pack was a good combination of comfort and total waterproofing from the rain. It was probably a bit overkill in size and I would highly recommend bringing less with you and just reusing more! In the end though it was comfortable to carry and when the rain came everything stayed bone dry. We went through almost two weeks of rain while traveling and I was so happy I had this bag while we were going between towns and train stations. There was one day of non-stop downpour that everything on me was wet except for the contents of this bag. I did also use the hip strap and it helped keep everything snug against my back. In the end I would say this bag is worth the purchase just for the waterproofing alone and ease of use. My only issues with it would be it's lack of pockets on the outside and the wall of the bag is not the thickest. It you pad any sharp objects inside and excuse the lack of pockets the pack works great. The other thing is you might need a small light to see into the deepest depths of it...Other than that, I was able to throw everything in my pack and get going very quickly in the morning. We liked this SealLine pack so much that my wife and I purchased two other bags (the Urban pack & the Boundary bag) since they are so well made. I'm sure I will be getting years of good use out of it as I prefer this thing over regular luggage now!
Review: wow. i mean just wow - This thing is great! I do everything on a bicycle and really need the option to carry things. Boy does this bag carry things. ITS HUGE! 115 L, or over 9,000 cubic inches. def the largest back pack you have probably ever seen. But its comfy too! the strapping system is great. There are tons of ways to strap on this bag! plus it is adjustable, and totally waterproof. For it's size it packs down pretty decently too as to not be too bulky when empty. Built to last too. Vinyl covering can take a lot of damage. Down side is that there are no compartments. This backpack is just a vast cavern inside. No matter. I just split my stuff up into reusable grocery bags and put them iside and off I go. I wouldn't be surprised if this thing lasts me a lifetime. truly a good investment! great for cycling, camping, kayaking, moving, doing your laundry.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tough, waterproof and comfortable to carry. What is not to Love about this pack?
*by G***N on February 2, 2018*

I bought this because some friends with whom we canoe camp have had this same model for 20 years and it has survived hundreds of portages and months of canoe camping in the BWCA. This thing is seriously huge though. I haven't tried, but I bet that I could fit inside this cavernous pack. Great for bulky items that you want to keep safe and dry. The black "bucket" bottom is an extra durable layer that is more abrasion resistant, which is nice when sometimes the only place you have to set it down is in some pointy rocks. It is also airtight so if you use it for a food pack, the critters won't be able to smell your goodies and try to steal them like they did with our friends old canvas pack. Some of the hardware has changed from their model, particularly the padding on the belt, but this one is fully adjustable and comfortable to wear while carrying 70 plus pounds down a trail with the addition of a canoe on your shoulders. I said it was "comfortable". I didn't say it was easy. There are no truly awesome things which you can do that are easy. If they are easy, then they cease to be awesome.
