Very rarely did the screen register my palm touching the screen while using this pen. BE VERY CAREFUL when purchasing this pen and make sure your laptop is compatible with it. It is a complete joke that there are so many laptops and so many different pens and they are not all compatible. On many of my programs the stylus works only sporadically. The stylus on my 6 year old Lenovo laptop works much better. As a matter of fact I like my 6 year old Lenovo better than the Spectre as well.
