Thanks!** A: Single edge. The rear edge is ground in such a way that you can put an edge on it. But I’d recommend against it for safety reasons. **Q: Can it be deassisted ?** A: Probably, but the blade does not ride on bearings. If de-assisted it would most likely be hard to open. Also the blade does not have traditional thumb studs or finger nail groves. Very cool knife. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing quality *by C***E on April 11, 2021* I’m a knife freak I’ve collected knives my entire life, this knife has a nice taper to it what I mean by that is the frame of the knife slowly tappers smaller towards the blade, the blade is very well sucured in the knife and has no wobble, the clip is a deep pocket carry and is nicely secured to the handle of the knife. A nice detail I didn’t notice when ordering is in the thumb studs is little blue circles that add a nice little detail to the knife but still subtle.
