It had rained a lot where I live and from the product description it says that it is waterproof however it was not after they sent me a new actuator. I took plastic dip spray and coated it 6 times then I put water resistant grease and applied that all around the shaft that moves which is where I think the water intrusion comes from there is no seal right there from what I can tell. I put a thicker amount in that area when I’m not using it as you can see in the video after multiple days of it raining it does work so what I have done to it so far. Has solved my problem no the longevity of it will only be known in time. But so far so good.
