In conjunction with my Cerbo GX, I can keep an eye on my batteries from anywhere. The SmartShunt is very easy to install and configure. I can wirelessly connect per Bluetooth with Victron Energy's App for my smart phone, or WiFi with through my CerboGX. I can see all aspects of my batteries use, state of charge, to include the history and much more. Knowing, and seeing all of this information lets me know if I need to tweak my solar array, make changes to my charge controllers settings and help to identify a possible bad battery. This device gives me piece of mind and also allows me to set up alarms. It does a lot and is very well designed. I find the SmartShunt to be a must have for my solar system, and I think it is a great deal and value for the price for what it does. Victron Energy makes great products of high quality and durability that just work.
