It's a mug. Does exactly what it says on the box. Keeps a hot drink hot for a couple of hours. After that it slowly cools down. I haven't tried cold drinks yet but I am sure it will perform great.Most important thing for me, it's easy to clean. Other mugs I tried have gaps where liquids can be trapped and it will stink badly after a while. This one has none of that.
