The Porter Vintage Custom Strat Set was created for those who love the early and iconic strat tones, but need more power. These pickups help address some of the issues many have with the early strat pickups in that they aren't full enough or strong enough. Vintage with power! We've changed some wind concepts and magnet makeup to get great articulation on notes and very touch/pick sensitive. Grey bottom flatwork with steel bridge plate.  Tones Great for blues, rock and more! These pickups particularly shine in clean to light gain range.  Specs Alnico 5 magnets with bevel for a precise and focused tone. Wound with 42 plain enamel wire, a favorite of the 60's strat lovers. A Porter branded steel bridge baseplate comes standard to help thicken up that position.  Made in Boise, ID USA
