## Description

The typical Japanese chefs of the Seki Magoroku Kinju series are ideal for precise cutting and processing of raw fish and meat. In total, the series has nine types of knives, including seven Kinju right-handed knives and two Hekiju knives, specially designed for left-handed users. As knife types, balanced Yanagiba and Deba knives with different blade lengths are available. The cubistic black handles of the Kinju knives are made of reinforced laminated wood and are particularly water resistant.

A: Can't tell, but I think it is not. Balance is OK

**Q: Does it come with a sheath?**
A: No

**Q: Is it concave on the "flat" side of the blade (Urasuki)?**
A: No it is not concave. Decent knife, there are better. Would buy again and definitely recommend to keep up on sharpening. Over all good knife.

**Q: what is  the blade width and thickness of  your knife?**
A: No sharp and rusty

Was able to slide right through seared cuts of tuna for clean and unblemished slices. Would probably recommend it as a good starter knife if you are not looking to pay too much. Again, likely not the best knife out there...but FOR THE PRICE I believe it is well worth it.

It's a good knife for the price point. When you first get it it will only have a very thin factory edge so you will have to sharpen it out the box, after that it'll be pretty decent just make sure not to bang it agent other things as it chips super easy ivw been using it at my job as a sushi chef for about a month or two and has held up decently
