I put it under our fitted sheet. It fits great on our king size mattress, offering perfect coverage. The controls are user friendly. It has multiple level settings (this thing gets hot!), as well as timer for auto shut off. The blankets color is deep and vibrant. The fabric is incredibly soft and warm without being set on any heat setting for those nights it’s not blistering cold. It does adds a light layer of cushion on top of our memory foam mattress. It’s not thick but it also isn’t thin either.. Which is a little bonus for us as our mattress would become a little firmer in the colder months. Oh, and for anyone concerned about any smell upon arrival, our didn’t have any odors! We are extremely happy with our purchase! My husband growned about the idea of electric blanket, haha.
