Review: Very handy - I have several of these for work. Head band Is comfortable and seems to be fairly durable. Seems to charge fairly quickly and battery lasts a good amount of time. I’ve used them for about 4 hours on the high setting, not the “turbo” setting. Brightness is pretty good for such a little unit. Has added bonus of a strong magnetic base and a strong clip. Gives the light more options than just a headlamp. Good value for the price.

A: Hi, here are the details:
Mode 1: 1100-250 lumens, runtime is 2+85 minutes;
Mode 2: 250 lumens, runtime is 100 minutes;
Mode 3: 60 lumens, runtime is 7 hours;
Mode 4: 15 lumens, runtime is 26 hours;
Mode 5: 2 lumens, runtime is 10 days.
For red light, the output is 40 lumens, runtime is 150 minutes.

**Q: does it have removeable a battery?**
A: Hi, yes the battery is removeable. Thank you.

**Q: Can it be used with CR123a batteries as a backup ?**
A: I was told by a representative from OLight that the Prerun 2 is NOT compatible with CR123a batteries.  This is why I'll be returning mine.  I want my flashlights to be standards-based and custom batteries are a no go.

**Q: What color tint are the non-black lights?**
A: They are cool. Only the black has the 2 options of cool and neutral. I’m trying to figure out which one to get.

EDC. Survived and thrived in a tough Alaskan winter. Many long and dark days at or below -40. Recharges quick. Good use-time between charges, even at the brightest setting. Easy to actuate with heavy gloves and mittens.
