**Q: How wide is the size 7 on the calf?**
A: measures approximately 44.5 cm around the outside of the boot at calf level. I think it is a boot mainly for the male foot ? so is generous in width from toes to calf.

**Q: I'm a ladies size 7, and need to fit some thick insoles and several pairs of socks into the boots. Will size 7 be big enough or should I go up to 8?**
A: I'm tempted to say try size 8. I've usually found ladies shoe sizes are usually smaller than men's for the same specified size, so size 7 in ladies would be size 6 in mens, but if you'll be wearing extra socks + insoles... Make sure you can exchange them if they're sloppy. If you're wearing insoles for arch support, you might be able to get away without using them in these boots, I've got low arches but find them more comfy than most shoes
