Sound is slightly muffled.Does exactly what I was looking for. A case to protect it from the elements, either sun or rain. I like that I can see the recording LED and it's a snug fit. Although it's personal preference, I like that it's made of hard plastic rather than 3D printed.With a snug fit, the mic is covered and sound is slightly muffled. Depending on content, sometimes I leave the cover slightly open. Having a second close point would have been nice for this option. The case is a little hard to open when the camera is in it. Not a deal breaker but a tiny bit of a pain.Although the fan is very quiet when I plugged it in, the whir is noticeable when recording. If you are going to use the fan and care about recording the sound, I'd suggest getting a shotgun mic to mount in one of the cold shoe mounts.Normal USB-C wires fit through the wiring hole but it's a snug fit for the wires.
